Housing Placement

Many people living with HIV/AIDS in our community don't have the personal resources to help address their medical and social challenges. Some have no place to go when they are discharged from the hospital. Others are thrown out of their apartments when people learn that they have the disease. Many don't have the money to pay for their housing after they become sick.

AIDS Care Service helps people living with HIV find decent, affordable, long-term housing. ACS operates four emergency shelter apartments for HIV+ people who need shelter immediately. People on the brink of homelessness also receive access to federal rent subsidies, donated furnishings, and relevant social services.

If we can help with any of your housing needs, contact Housing Coordinator Cheryl Kiser at (336)722-6551 or email CKiser@aidscareservice.org.
